Story of Luna Cyan
They never thought they’d raise dairy goats. In 2016, Christie’s mom decided after 40+ years of raising Nubians, she was going to disperse her herd and start raising Nigerian Dwarfs. Nigerian’s would be easier for her to handle as she aged. Steven and Christie couldn’t imagine all those beautiful Nubians not being a part of the family anymore. Luckily, they were able to choose their favorites. After purchasing a doe and five doelings they fell in love. Less than six months later, they’d doubled the herd. Within two years, Christie’s mother had fields of Nigerians and they had twenty Nubians.
